The Pouyades pond is 9 hectares specially landscaped for fishing ! 

Some lodgings of the hamlet even have "feet in the water"...

Fishing cards are on sale at the reception of the Hameau des Pouyades. The right to fish at night is open to fishermen holding the "WEEK" card and all year round for customers of the Hameau.

In this pond, you can find mainly carp between 8 and 15 kg and some between 20 and 28 kg, pike perch, pike, tenches, sturgeons, a few white loves, roach and black bass.

The use of an initiator boat is strictly prohibited on the pond, even with a medical certificate.

Important information: 

The pond of Pouyades is managed by the association "Les pêcheurs de Mondon et des Pouyades", they are the ones who fix the openings and closures. You can download the regulation at the bottom of the page.

Carp fishing: Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 7 a.m.

Predator fishing: Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 7 a.m.

Close: 

December 31, 2026 in the evening.

FISHING in NO KILL for all species

For local fishermen and non-residents of the cottages, fishing on the pond Pouyades is allowed during the day thanks to a paid card that you can buy on Magnac-Laval in the following places: Magnac Jardi Loisir, Bar le Brazza (opposite the church).

 Rates: 

Annual card: 100€

Weekly card: 40 €

Daily card: 9€

Half-day menu: 6€

As a reminder :

 - Night fishing is prohibited for all people who do not reside in the gîtes

- No sleeping on the banks of the pond while waiting for the sunrise 

- You must show your fishing rights to the guards who ask for it
